Down In History

Someone once told me to look up
i didn't see anything to look up too.
I now realize there is no turning back,
whats behind me won't get me through.

There isn't enough time to go back and foward,
not enough time see it again.
Got to look ahead and keepon walking foward.
Cause tomorrow won't wait for me while i'm in yesterday.

I've strip myself of all my shackles.
Let myself be consumed by the light.
I'm no longer contained by negative thoughts
I know what my dream is, it's far, but still in sight.
